Wedding Day Schedule
2:00 PM – Start getting ready at the cabin
The afternoon begins with everyone getting ready and the excitement quietly building. It’s the start of the day’s celebrations—time to get dressed, take it all in, and enjoy these early moments together.
3:45 PM – Depart for the ceremony
We’ll all head out together for the drive to Picture Lake.
4:45 PM – Ceremony at Picture Lake Viewpoint
Join us for an intimate ceremony set against a stunning alpine backdrop.
5:15 PM – Free time at Picture Lake
After the ceremony, we’ll slip away for private vows and portraits. Feel free to explore the area, walk the lakeside trail, or just take in the view.
7:30 PM – Guests arrive at the reception
Please be at 3C’s Farm and ready to celebrate!
7:45 PM – Reception begins
We’ll kick off the evening with first dances, speeches, cake, dinner, and—if the stars align—sparklers under the night sky.
Getting There

Directions from Mt. Baker Lodge
Head east on Mt Baker Hwy (SR 542) from the cabin toward Glacier.
Enjoy approximately 21 miles through evergreen forests and along the Nooksack River.
Beyond Firs Lodge, watch for a turnout on the left—that’s the parking area just north of Picture Lake.
Park in the pull‑out and take the short 0.5‑mile loop path around the lake—it’s accessible, flat, and leads to lovely viewpoints
Drive Time: Approximately 25 - 30 minutes from the cabin.
Between the Ceremony and Reception
After the ceremony, we’ll be slipping away for a little while to exchange private vows and take photos—so we invite you to take your time and enjoy the setting around you. Picture Lake is one of the most beautiful places in the area, and we’d love for you to soak it in. Whether you wander the trail, snap some photos, or just sit and breathe in the mountain air, this is your moment to pause and take in the magic of where we are. The reception will follow at 3C’s Farm, so feel free to linger for a bit—but be sure to leave yourself enough time to make the drive down and arrive ready to celebrate.

There are benches and quiet corners scattered along the trail and near the lake, providing ideal spots to pause, unwind, and soak in the peaceful surroundings. Whether you choose to sit quietly in reflection, watch the gentle ripples on the water, or simply take in the beauty of the towering trees and distant peaks, it’s a calm and gentle way to experience the landscape before making your way to the reception.

Just a short walk or drive from Picture Lake, Heather Meadows offers alpine meadows, lava rock formations, and sweeping vistas that feel otherworldly. It’s a beautiful way to stretch your legs and take in even more of what this area has to offer.
